2026 Spring Field Cleanup and Club Meeting

Spring Clean Up and Club Meeting at the Field - Saturday May 16, 2026:  9:00-11:00AM

Tasks for the day will include:

• Taking down and storing the winter shelter.
• Move and install the summer shelter.
• Clean and setup the barbecue.
• Move and position the benches and  picnic tables.
• West starting station needs some work on the patio stones, they need to be raised a couple of inches.
• Four patio stones need to be installed centre of the control line circle.
• Roll east west runway and north south runway.
• Get rid of some of the junk that’s accumulated in our trailer.
• Level a few pot holes on our lane. Andy is planning on bringing his 4 wheeler with a dump box.
• If someone wants to do some lumber jacking, bring your chainsaw. East of the runway there’s a clump of trees that aren’t getting shorter.

Tools needed include: shovels, rakes, wheel barrow, jack knife and chainsaw.

The work party is from 9:00 till 11:00. Followed by a club meeting.

Barbecue lunch will be included as a thank you for attending and lending a hand.
