2026 Spring Field Cleanup and Club Meeting
Spring Clean Up and Club Meeting at the Field - Saturday May 16, 2026: 9:00-11:00AM
Tasks for the day will include:
- Taking down and storing the winter shelter.
- Move and install the summer shelter.
- Clean and setup the barbecue.
- Move and position the benches and picnic tables.
- West starting station needs some work on the patio stones, they need to be raised a couple of inches.
- Four patio stones need to be installed centre of the control line circle.
- Roll east west runway and north south runway.
- Get rid of some of the junk that’s accumulated in our trailer.
- Level a few pot holes on our lane. Andy is planning on bringing his 4 wheeler with a dump box.
- If someone wants to do some lumber jacking, bring your chainsaw. East of the runway there’s a clump of trees that aren’t getting shorter.
Tools needed include: shovels, rakes, wheel barrow, jack knife and chainsaw.
The work party is from 9:00 till 11:00. Followed by a club meeting.
Barbecue lunch will be included as a thank you for attending and lending a hand.

April 28th Meeting Cancelled
We've decided to combine our last club meeting for the season with the Spring field clean up. As a result, we are cancelling the in-person meeting in April 28, 2026 at the community centre.
Agenda for the get together at the field will be as follows:
- Field clean up
- Business meeting
- Complimentary BBQ lunch for attendees
- Fly, fly, fly
The field IS open for flying. Both the main runway and control line circle are drying out nicely. The pits are still pretty damp so be sure to bring suitable footwear.

2026 April Club Meeting

Regular club meeting with a 'Show & Tell & Sell' theme. See below for time, date and location.
SHOW & TELL: Bring your airplanes and heli’s, both new and experienced, and let folks see what you have building. There are lots of stories! We have seen some cool mods done to Aero Scouts and similar simple birds which deserve being shown, as well as some great control line aircraft, scale and aerobatic planes, some with the 700-foot package installed which needs explaining. Bring them out and tell us! Share your experiences and what you have discovered.
Come a little early (6:30-6:45pm) to set your stuff up and be a part of club meetings with MORE! Meeting starts at 7:00pm.
